We are living in a touristique area, full of history, where Stephan the Great built one of the most famous monastery in the world – VORONET –“The Sixtine Chapel of East”.
The very first thing we’ve ever bought as a married couple (Florin & Carmen) was a dog, a Myoritic Romanian Shepherd. For 20 years we had all kinds of breeds, from Myoritic Romanian Shepherd or German Shepherd to Cocker Spaniel, Dog of Bordeaux and Poodle, until our first Presa Canario. We’ve felt very much in love with this breed and from our love, came the result, our presa canario kennel: BUCOVINA WORKING DOGS.

It must be our experience combined with luck , but our first presa canario dog Maya, was perfect for our family. A very balanced dog, very loving and extremely protective with a great drive and love for work. Working with her, trainning her, we realised presa isn’t complete without a strong character. Our males came from well known breeders from pure presa bloodlines with a very good character and full of drive.
It was enough only one litter and Buffy stayed with us. Next presa canario dogs were Boris, Alma and John Snow.
We are trainning and working all our dogs and we are trying to have healthy, with good structure and strong character puppies.
